Health and welfare of your cat

In order to maintain our excellent health and safety record we have a few conditions to safeguard the well being of your cat and also that of other cats staying in the cattery. Cats must be inoculated against Feline Cat Flu & Feline Infectious Enteritis. Other inoculations must be given on the advice of your vet.

Please bring your cat’s current vaccination certificate as proof of protection against cat flu and enteritis for inspection upon arrival at the cattery. Cats must be neutered (unless less than 6 months old). Please inform the personnel in Reception of any health problems your cat may have had, or is likely to have, just in case your cat is taken ill during its stay with us.

If in the unlikely situation that your cat feels unwell, off-colour or needs medical treatment, we will endeavour to contact you. We therefore need an emergency contact number just in case a minor medical problem needs to be dealt with. If it is not possible to contact you, we will call our local veterinary practice ( 24 hour access to veterinary services ) and seek their advice.
